This contract opportunity requires two skilled SLPs to cover leaves of absence, with assignments expected to begin in mid-October and mid-November. You'll be working on-site across full-time schedules, providing essential services to students across various age groups and school sites.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active California SLP license required
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to manage a dynamic, varied caseload and collaborate with educational teams
- Comfortable working on-site across multiple campuses as needed
Role Highlights:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy for students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to foster student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Serve as an active participant in IEP meetings and parent communications
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed (number of schools TBD)
- Provide ongoing progress monitoring and adapt strategies as needed
