Speech Language Pathologist in Irvine, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment consists of three full-time Leave of Absence positions, each delivering impactful support to diverse age groups across preschool, elementary, and middle school settings. The high likelihood of extending through the school year provides stability and potential for continued professional growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech and language therapy to students, averaging a caseload of approximately 55 per SLP.
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student progress and inclusion.
• Conducting assessments, evaluating progress, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with all district and state guidelines.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expertise to support positive student outcomes.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of California.
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site across assigned schools in the San Juan Capistrano region.
