Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in a school setting
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to address communication challenges that may affect learning and social interaction
  • Delivering both direct and indirect services, including teletherapy as required
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Supporting students across a range of needs, from early intervention to continuing services, including pediatric and healthcare-related speech therapy

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • CCC-SLP credentials or clinical fellowship year (CFY) status welcome
  • Current Texas state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy, as well as teletherapy experience, is preferred but not mandatory
