This opportunity offers a full-time, contract position supporting the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) in an engaging, collaborative environment. You’ll work on-site as part of a dedicated team, focusing on therapy services for students in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program—a role where your skills truly matter.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current Texas SLP license
  • Fluent American Sign Language (ASL) skills, or DHHT certification
  • Experience with, or enthusiasm for, working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) on-site, supporting the academic year from August 11, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Candidates must complete state-required fingerprinting through TEA if not previously cleared

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services as part of a specialized RDSPD team for students across a range of ages, focusing on communication development and support
  • Collaborate closely with fellow SLPs, educators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Participate in meetings, IEP development and implementation, and ongoing program growth
  • Provide documentation and reporting in line with district and state requirements
