Essential Qualifications:
- Active and current Texas SLP license
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
- Strongly preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary-aged students
- Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
- Expertise in crafting and implementing IEP goals and maintaining documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a diverse caseload
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Develop, review, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant records as necessary
- Travel between the elementary school and Head Start site as part of your regular schedule
