Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting 11th and 12th graders as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This rewarding, onsite contract role enables you to work full-time with a caseload of approximately 40 high school students who require speech and language support.
You’ll step into a forward-thinking educational environment, acting as a key resource for students, staff, and families. Your expertise will be valued as you provide both direct therapy and essential consultation services, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and help develop impactful IEP goals. Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high school students, is strongly valued
- Strong assessment, organizational, and written/verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy tailored to high school students
- Accurately document student progress and maintain relevant records
- Actively collaborate with educational teams and families to support student growth
Assignment Information:
- Full-time hours: 40 hours per week, from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027
- Onsite position with engaging, senior high school caseload
