Step into an impactful contract role serving middle and elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll make a real difference for approximately 35 students in a supportive school setting, collaborating with passionate colleagues and families throughout the academic year. This full-time, on-site position spans from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a consistent 40-hour work week.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary and middle school students
  • Ability to provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop personalized IEP goals
  • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with educators, special education staff, administrators, and families
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills
  • Reliable transportation for onsite responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students needing speech and language intervention
  • Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Complete assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation teams
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized speech and language programs
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and provide support for students’ ongoing needs
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships within the school community
