Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Reliable transportation to travel between sites
- Skilled in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations for students as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and service plans
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation
- Collaborate regularly with special education teams, teachers, and parents to ensure student progress
- Serve as an advocate for student communication needs across various private school settings
This contract will run from August 4, 2026 to May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Candidates will participate in a brief virtual interview process and should be prepared to highlight their experience and licensure status, along with confirming reliable transportation and scheduling availability.
