Step into a dynamic, contract-based opportunity supporting young learners in a vibrant school setting near Irving, TX. This role provides essential speech-language pathology services to students from Pre-K through fifth grade, spanning general education, special education resource, and self-contained life skills programs. Work closely with a diverse team of educators and specialists while making a significant impact during the pivotal months of mid-late September through the end of December.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP processes for both general and special education populations
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, providing individualized and group speech-language services
  • Deliver therapy and support across PK-5th grade, including general education and specialized settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop appropriate IEP goals, and contribute to annual reviews and eligibility meetings
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Engage with families and educational staff to support student communication needs and success
