What You’ll Need:
- State of Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous pediatric, school, or education-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong documentation and timelog management skills
- Comfort working onsite and commuting between schools as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with students, educators, and families
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, pre-kindergarten through high school
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining detailed records of services and submitting weekly timelogs to the Director for approval
- Collaborating with educational teams on IEPs and student progress
- Serving as a resource for staff and parents regarding communication disorders
- Managing a single school assignment or supporting two close-by campuses within a small, welcoming district
- Developing a flexible schedule to meet the needs of your students
