Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active or eligibility for Texas SLP licensure (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
  • Experience in school settings or pediatric populations highly valued
  • Comfortable working with K-12 age groups and adapting intervention plans accordingly
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges
  • Ability to work in-person for the contracted school year
  • Open to mentoring and learning within a supportive team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and progress monitoring
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and progress
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to teachers and families to maximize student success
  • Engage in school initiatives to foster inclusive environments and positive student outcomes
