Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a school-based setting close to Irving, TX. This position is ideal for an energetic and collaborative CCC-SLP seeking either full-time (40 hours weekly) or a flexible part-time schedule. You’ll make an impact from August 11, 2026 through May 27, 2027.

Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be central in conducting evaluations, managing re-evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and providing thoughtful case management for a diverse caseload. Additionally, your leadership skills will shine as you supervise two SLPAs—one monolingual, one bilingual—helping them grow as professionals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP credential is required
  • Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Strong background in evaluations, re-evaluations, and IEP development
  • Familiarity with special education settings
  • Comfort with supervising both monolingual and bilingual SLPAs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete student speech-language assessments, including initial and re-evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a Case Manager, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise SLPAs, fostering their growth and ensuring quality service delivery
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, families, and outside agencies
