Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the K-7 school setting. This position involves providing approximately 5 hours of service each week, divided into two direct service days of 2.5 hours each. You'll manage a dedicated caseload of 19 students across grades K-7, delivering targeted interventions designed to foster each student's communication development and academic success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Active state licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services twice weekly
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student integration
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
