Step into a rewarding position supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a Texas school setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing both direct and indirect speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Completing evaluations, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitoring student progress.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster students’ communication skills.
- Maintaining thorough documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid billing where applicable.
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conversations to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- An active Texas SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in a school-based environment, especially with pediatric or elementary populations (preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
