Your background in school-based speech-language pathology, especially with the CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), is highly valued. The district will match you with a specific caseload based on your strengths and the needs of the students. There is an added preference for professionals who are able and willing to supervise SLPAs onsite, contributing to the growth of both staff and student achievement.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Prior experience in a school setting, serving K-12 students, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor SLPAs in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students across the district
• Conduct ongoing assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain documentation and monitor progress towards IEP goals
• Supervise onsite SLPAs, providing guidance and supporting their professional development
