Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, making an immediate impact within an engaging elementary school environment.
Work with a manageable caseload of 55 students, providing vital speech and language services to help them reach their full potential. You'll collaborate with supportive staff and have access to the resources needed to design, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for school-based practice
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Comfort working collaboratively and independently
- Passion for helping children achieve communication success
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate progress
- Maintain accurate, timely therapy records and progress notes
- Participate in IEP and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide both individual and small group therapy as appropriate
