Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Irwin, PA

Make a significant impact by supporting students’ communication skills across several educational settings. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity suits Speech-Language Pathologists with experience in school-based environments, holding both an SLP-CCC and a valid PA SLP Educator Certificate. Two rewarding positions are available, working onsite to serve student populations within Washington and Greene Counties.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP-CCC certification and PA SLP Educator Certificate required
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric caseloads strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 50+ students
• Able to commute reliably to multiple assigned schools within Washington and Greene Counties
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver speech and language services to a diverse student population on an individualized and group basis
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s learning needs
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, assessment files, and progress reports
• Participate in pre-year training sessions and adhere to the school-year schedule
• Travel between assigned sites (Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg Campus) as required

Position Details:

• Attend training sessions August 13th, 14th (and 17th for multiple-site position), 8 AM–3:30 PM, at McMurray Campus
• School year: August start, ending June 3rd; regular schedule 7:30 AM–3 PM
• One role based at Washington Park Elementary (single location, 50-student caseload)
• One role covers multiple sites, traveling between schools weekly
