Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience serving school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in evaluating and implementing speech-language strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve student goals

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and interventions to students within the school setting
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student services
  • Document student performance and maintain detailed records in accordance with school policies
  • Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources to foster student success
  • Serve as an advocate for best practices in speech and language development
