Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Issaquah, WA. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference across both middle school and homebound student populations. Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a later start at 8:30 am on Mondays to accommodate homebound and specialized AAC needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services for middle school students four days per week.
  • Dedicate Mondays to homebound students, focusing on implementing and supporting the use of AAC devices, including eye gaze technology.
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to a diverse caseload of middle and elementary-aged students.
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student communication outcomes.
  • Maintain timely and precise documentation of progress, therapy sessions, and compliance records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for comprehensive student support.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Washington.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred, though strong CFY candidates may be considered.
  • Experience or keen interest in working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for serving both in-school and homebound students of varying grade levels.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills.
