School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Issaquah, Washington

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid and current SLP licensure for Washington State
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience serving secondary (middle or high school) students, including those using AAC devices
• Familiarity with servicing homebound students and providing remote or in-person support
• Strong collaboration skills and adaptability

Role Highlights:

• Work four days a week at a middle school, delivering comprehensive speech/language services
• Dedicate Mondays to homebound students, focusing on personalized strategies and tools including AAC and eye gaze technologies
• Participate in planning and transition alongside the outgoing SLP for a smooth onboarding experience
• Manage a structured caseload that allows for meaningful, consistent student interactions (approximately 725 minutes/month)
• Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a later start on Mondays (8:30 am)
• Engage in team meetings, family communications, and documentation as part of delivering high-quality service
