Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience or clinical rotations in a school-based setting highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students of varying abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitoring progress and updating goals as needed
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group formats
- Optimize student participation and communication within classroom and social settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage caseload requirements in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and personal growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
