Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Experience or clinical rotations in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students of varying abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitoring progress and updating goals as needed
  • Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group formats
  • Optimize student participation and communication within classroom and social settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage caseload requirements in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and personal growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
