Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • State licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience in school settings and comfort working with a diverse K-12 caseload.
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to various student needs and education plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Provide direct, in-person therapy sessions tailored to each student’s education plan.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student progress and advocate for support services.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation for each student as required by school and state guidelines.
  • Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings with expert recommendations and progress updates.
  • Provide resources and strategies to teachers and staff for supporting communication in the classroom.
