Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- State licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in school settings and comfort working with a diverse K-12 caseload.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt interventions to various student needs and education plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Provide direct, in-person therapy sessions tailored to each student’s education plan.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student progress and advocate for support services.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation for each student as required by school and state guidelines.
- Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings with expert recommendations and progress updates.
- Provide resources and strategies to teachers and staff for supporting communication in the classroom.
