Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA CCC or eligible CFY)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but strong new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Eagerness to support students from diverse backgrounds with varying speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students onsite
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Engage in regular communication with parents, staff, and administrators
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as required
- Assess and adjust therapy approaches to maximize student growth
- Collaborate closely with other professionals—never SLPAs—ensuring direct delivery of specialized services
