Key Requirements:

  • Hold an active Arkansas Speech Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP certification required
  • Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge and application of speech and language assessment and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop student goals and track progress
  • Document services provided and maintain compliance with state/local documentation requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
  • Support students’ social and academic development through effective interventions and communication strategies
