School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Jacksonville, Florida

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Background working with school-aged children, especially ages PreK–2nd grade, is highly valued
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, patience, and a passion for fostering communication growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in PreK–2nd grade students
• Tailor therapy sessions and interventions based on each child’s unique needs
• Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans
• Contribute to IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations
• Provide resources and support for teachers and parents to encourage student progress
