Step into a rewarding contract-to-hire opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This full-time position spans the entire school year and focuses on serving PreK through 2nd grade at a single, convenient location near Jacksonville, FL. Beginning on August 2, 2024, you’ll build connections with students at a key stage in their speech and language development, helping set a strong foundation for future success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold an active SLP license for the state of Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience with PreK–2nd-grade populations preferred, but passionate new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school-based PreK–2nd grade caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and customized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to provide comprehensive support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in line with school and state requirements
  • Support students in improving communication skills for academic and social development
