School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Start: August 10, 2026 - May 28, 2027

Type: Full Time | 35 Hours/Week

Position Overview:

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), you will play a key role in supporting students’ communication and language development within a collaborative educational environment. This position involves partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve academic and social success through individualized speech and language services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support school staff through consultation and speech/language-related strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams.
