A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credentials. This role supports elementary school students from kindergarten through 5th grade, providing therapeutic services to a caseload of approximately 45 children.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings to support student success
Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC or currently in CFY
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Comfort working within a school setting focused on elementary education
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location and Schedule:
- Based in Jacksonville, North Carolina, approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC
- Position supports one elementary school
- Full-time contract from ASAP through June 11, 2026
- 39 hours per week
