A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or CFY certification to support an elementary school setting. This role is based approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC, serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Key Details:

  • Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or CFY
  • Location: Near Jacksonville, NC (1 hour north of Wilmington)
  • Setting: Elementary school (K-5th grade)
  • Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY), starting ASAP through 6/11/2026
  • Schedule: 39 hours per week
  • Caseload: Approximately 45 students

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged children. The role requires assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication development. Collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to promote student progress and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with ASHA CCC or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with elementary-aged students
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
