Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Jacksonville, North Carolina

A contract position is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), open to both CCC-certified professionals and Clinical Fellows (CFY). This school-based role offers the chance to work full-time (39 hours per week) with a diverse K-12 student population just an hour north of Wilmington, North Carolina.

As a valued SLP, you'll provide essential speech and language services that empower students, collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current SLP licensure in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision
• Experience or training in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
• Previous experience working with K-12 populations is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, targeting a wide range of communication challenges
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Complete documentation, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for language and communication development
