Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold or be eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC), or be completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience or practicum in school-based settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for PreK to elementary populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students in PreK through 5th grade, providing direct therapy and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, administrative staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Implement evidence-based practices that support diverse learning needs
