Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Effective collaborator with students, teachers, and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students with a variety of needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students two days per week
  • Monitor and document student progress while maintaining accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with educators, special education staff, and parents
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support plans
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and families to support communication goals
