Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Prior experience or clinical placements in K-12 school settings is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for a variety of communication disorders
• Strong organizational and documentation capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments using standardized tools within the school environment
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive atmosphere for students of varying ages and backgrounds
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals, offering strategies and resources to support student learning
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in line with school policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current on evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
