Job Type Contract

Step into an exciting opportunity with a school beginning its inaugural year serving Early Intervention students! This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)–whether you are a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or credentialed with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)–who are passionate about making an impact in early childhood education. You’ll start part-time and, as the student caseload grows, transition to full-time hours, allowing for a flexible and evolving work schedule as the program develops.

What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • NY state SLP licensure or eligibility, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Comfort working with children ages birth–3 in an early intervention setting
  • Enthusiasm for team collaboration
  • Eagerness to work in a new program, adapting as needs grow

Your Role Includes:

  • Providing individual and group speech therapy for a caseload of children, each with robust support: a dedicated 1:1 teacher’s assistant and a special education teacher in each classroom
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans to support students’ communication goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, aides, parents, and your on-site supervisor, who offers mentorship and continual feedback (perfect for CFs!)
  • Documenting progress and participating in team meetings to optimize each child’s development
  • Adapting to a flexible schedule, initially working a few hours a week and increasing up to 40 hours as caseloads expand through the 12-month position

Enjoy the chance to grow alongside an innovative program while advancing your own professional journey. If you’re ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners and want to be part of a supportive school community with strong supervision and a collaborative environment, apply today! Interviews are happening now.

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.72 to $61.72. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
