Step into a dynamic role supporting students across an entire district as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse student population in an engaging educational environment located near Jane Lew, WV.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for West Virginia (or eligibility for state licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Applicants in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from preschool to high school, district wide
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, social communication, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives when needed
