Ideal candidates are Speech-Language Pathologists holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), though individuals with SLPA credentials are also encouraged to apply. Experience in school-based environments and working with intermediate-aged students will be highly valued.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA program
- Active state license and (if applicable) CCC certification
- Prior experience in school settings, especially with intermediate-level students
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility and a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, following IEP goals and district guidelines
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement strategies that promote positive student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student intervention
