In this essential role, you'll work closely with children primarily participating in Child Find pre-kindergarten screenings, with the addition of select school-aged students. Ideal candidates possess a minimum of three years of school-based experience and bring a strong background in working with diverse pediatric populations. What we're looking for:

  • Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • At least three years of school-based SLP experience required
  • Pediatric experience, especially in early childhood and school-aged populations
  • Previous work as a school SLP Diagnostician, including screening and assessment
  • Eligibility to supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcomed
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families
  • Ability to create and maintain accurate, timely reports and documentation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings for Child Find pre-K and some school-aged students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine student needs and placement
  • Communicate evaluation results and recommendations to families and school staff
  • Provide thorough documentation and maintain required records
  • Support the educational team by sharing expertise and strategies to promote student success
