What we're looking for:
- Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- At least three years of school-based SLP experience required
- Pediatric experience, especially in early childhood and school-aged populations
- Previous work as a school SLP Diagnostician, including screening and assessment
- Eligibility to supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcomed
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families
- Ability to create and maintain accurate, timely reports and documentation
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings for Child Find pre-K and some school-aged students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine student needs and placement
- Communicate evaluation results and recommendations to families and school staff
- Provide thorough documentation and maintain required records
- Support the educational team by sharing expertise and strategies to promote student success
