Step into a vital role supporting student communication and academic development in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity begins August 11, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, offering a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week). The assignment will begin at a high school and transition to other campuses based on district needs, promising a diverse and rewarding experience throughout the academic year. While proficiency in bilingual services is highly valued, it is not a requirement.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable when working across different campuses and student populations
  • Bilingual ability is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students within the district, spanning assessment, implementation, and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to create and monitor individualized education plans
  • Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based interventions targeting communication disorders
  • Travel between school sites as directed by district needs
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with district policies
