Make an impact in education by providing essential speech-language services to high school students for the upcoming academic year. In this contracted position, you’ll deliver on-site support across two high schools, working closely with a diverse caseload in a collaborative setting. This opportunity is open to both certified Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellows, and SLP Assistants, offering valuable hands-on experience and professional growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Georgia SLP License with GaPSC Certification (for SLPs/CFs)
  • Bachelor’s degree and GaPSC certification (for SLP Assistants)
  • Experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
  • Comfort supporting program classrooms and consulting with staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 45 students
  • Support most students in program classrooms, tailoring interventions to individual needs
  • Provide services with varying frequencies: consult-only, sessions once weekly, bi-monthly, or twice weekly as indicated
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure best outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP development as needed

This is an on-site position with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, from late July through late May. The enriching environment, diverse student population, and structured caseload make this role ideal for professionals eager to help students thrive academically and individually.
