Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility by position start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status
- Strong background in pediatric speech and language therapy
- School-based or healthcare SLP experience preferred
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy for students with communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with educators, parents, and support staff for comprehensive care
- Provide direct and consultative services aligned with students’ academic success
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team activities
