Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Alabama SLP license or eligibility by position start date
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current CFY status

  • School-based or healthcare SLP experience preferred
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy for students with communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with educators, parents, and support staff for comprehensive care
  • Provide direct and consultative services aligned with students’ academic success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team activities
