As a part-time Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play an essential role in helping students build confidence and critical language skills in an encouraging environment. This position offers 4 days per week, though there may be some flexibility for candidates interested in a slightly lighter schedule.
In this school-based role, you'll manage a caseload of 15 students, some of whom receive services five days per week. Whether you're an SLP with your CCCs, a Clinical Fellow seeking strong supervisory support, or an SLPA ready to develop your skills in a school setting, you'll find the support you need to thrive. Supervision will be provided for SLPAs and CFs.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP (CCC), SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials eligible for Vermont
- Experience or interest in supporting preschool through 4th grade students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to engage with students of varying needs in an educational setting
- Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized speech-language services
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a small group of students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Complete thorough documentation and maintain compliance with special education guidelines
- Participate in school in-service starting August 21, with students arriving August 26
- Develop and implement engaging materials and therapy plans
