Work onsite in established elementary schools near Jersey City, NJ, focusing on student populations with high Autism prevalence and providing vital services for grades K-5 and preschoolers.
With 35+ hours per week, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and help shape student communication skills during a maternity leave coverage period. Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows accepted (outside supervision required)
- Experience working with elementary students—especially those with Autism and preschool populations
- Commitment to onsite, in-person role; remote/SLPA candidates not considered
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in a school setting
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Document sessions and maintain compliance with regulations
- Foster inclusion and communication skills among diverse student populations
