Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Jersey City, NJ

Step into a rewarding school-based position near Jersey City, NJ, supporting students’ communication and language needs. This opportunity is open to Speech-Language Pathologists with a CCC, those completing their CFY, as well as professionals experienced in school-based settings.

The assignment begins as soon as possible and is anticipated to continue through the end of the current school year. You’ll provide services across 2 locations, working with middle and high school students aged 11–17. With a caseload of approximately 30–50 students, your expertise will play a vital role in their educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Ability to work effectively with students ages 11–17
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• School-based experience is valued

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and document student progress
• Travel between 2 school sites (middle and high school) as part of your weekly schedule
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and support
• Provide services following best practices within the education system

Scheduling:

• 2–3 days per week
• 8:30 am–3:00 pm regular hours
• Start date is immediate, with placement expected through the school year
