Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and student needs
  • Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable utilizing technology for documentation and teletherapy, if required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
  • Provide direct therapy services aligned with students' goals
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes with stakeholders
  • Consult and train school staff and parents as needed
