Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and student needs
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable utilizing technology for documentation and teletherapy, if required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with students' goals
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes with stakeholders
- Consult and train school staff and parents as needed
