A contract position is open for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students from kindergarten through 8th grade in a K-8 school district located in Joliet, Illinois. This role provides a valuable opportunity to contribute to the academic and communicative development of a diverse student population over the full 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-8 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom environment.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and communicate regularly with families and school personnel.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working with children from kindergarten through 8th grade in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.
