Required Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and/or SLP-CCC certification
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with elementary and middle school students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in conducting assessments and evaluations for communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills when working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-8 students
- Collaborate with other educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
- Develop, update, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide group and individual speech therapy services in alignment with student goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and required reports
- Communicate effectively with families on student progress and strategies for ongoing support
