Applicants with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and experienced SLPs with backgrounds in healthcare or school settings are welcomed. As this role focuses on early childhood education, specialists comfortable engaging with young children will thrive. Please note: SLPAs are not considered for this position.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Illinois
• CCC credential or CFY status accepted
• Experience in schools, healthcare, or similar child-centered environments
• Passion for early childhood education and collaborative service delivery
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to onsite therapy and presence for early learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to early childhood students in an onsite school setting
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet student needs
• Foster a nurturing, supportive environment for all children
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
