A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the school year in Burbank, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work primarily with diagnostic assessments as well as a small early childhood (EC) caseload in the afternoon. The schedule includes servicing 9-10 PM EC students twice a week, with additional dedicated time for report writing, diagnostic evaluations, and meetings throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for students.
- Provide speech-language therapy to a small EC caseload.
- Manage scheduling and planning to balance therapy sessions with documentation and team meetings.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely records consistent with district and state requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in a school-based setting.
- Strong diagnostic and early childhood speech therapy skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
