Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials required.
- Active Illinois state SLP license or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Previous school-based SLP experience (K-8th grade) preferred.
- Familiarity with cross-categorical caseloads and IEP development.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with a range of communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver engaging, data-driven therapy in both individual and small group settings.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and families for carryover of communication strategies.
- Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and progress tracking.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
