Step into an essential role supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers 35 hours per week, working with K-8 students from diverse backgrounds in a supportive, educational environment near Joliet, IL. You’ll provide expert services for a cross-categorical caseload, making a meaningful impact on children’s communication skills throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Current Illinois SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a cross-categorical caseload with diverse needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and students
  • Passion for fostering student growth and progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to K-8 students according to IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress

  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and school guidelines
