Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in K-8th grades. With a steady 35 hours per week, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to create inclusive, supportive learning experiences.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials required.
  • Active Illinois state SLP license or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Previous school-based SLP experience (K-8th grade) preferred.
  • Familiarity with cross-categorical caseloads and IEP development.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with a range of communication disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver engaging, data-driven therapy in both individual and small group settings.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families for carryover of communication strategies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and progress tracking.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
