What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active Illinois SLP license
- Active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatrics, especially in a school setting
- SLP-CCC, CFY, or those with diverse backgrounds in healthcare or education are all encouraged to apply
- Ability to manage K-12 caseloads with professionalism and compassion
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills welcomed but not required
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech and language therapy, assessment, and interventions to diverse K-12 student populations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide both direct therapy and indirect services, ensuring documentation is timely and thorough
- Adapt approaches to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering inclusion and academic success
