This contract opportunity offers a chance to work closely with dedicated staff and a supportive community near Joliet, IL, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 27, 2027. You'll enjoy a set schedule from 8:15am to 3:30pm, totaling 35 hours per week, providing consistency and work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and current SLP certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with students across Pre-K through 12th grade—including a wide range of learning profiles
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive therapeutic atmosphere

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual, group, or classroom settings
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs and educational goals
