A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a school setting in Joliet, Illinois. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student goals and outcomes.
  • Provide therapy sessions, both individual and group, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
